The second photo is gloomy, gray, foggy, where factories spoil the ecology of the city.

Zaporizhzhia: between beauty and greyness

This photo shows the most beautiful places of Zaporizhzhia and disadvantages. On the left side there are 4 photos. Unusual sunsets and Dnipro HPP are depicted there. Our Zaporizhzhia is incredibly beautiful. Sunsets remind me that there is always happiness and peace in life.
However, on the right side 4 photos show the disadvantages of the city. Our central park needs updating, and the factories are very polluting.
The middle photo shows a beautiful sunset, but also factories. It shows the contrast of the city of Zaporizhzhia. Despite of the beauty, we have disadvantages. However, Zaporizhzhia is always ready to develop.

In the photo we see two houses and the same nature. But in the left photo, people are not following this treasure. It is much more pleasant to look at the picture to the right, where everything is in a neat form. Everything depends on us and what we do. I hope that our city will flourish everywhere, but in addition to faith, something must also be done.

Those are photos of Mukachevo; they shows the best and the worst views of it. On the left side you can see unbelievable horizons: calm and quiet park, busy center, magnificent Palanok castle. All of them left something unforgettable in my soul.

However, on the right side you can witness a dark side of this city: broken windows, old buildings, lots of garbage and litter. Sometimes, I can't understand how such a wonderful city can have so ugly and gray streets or houses.

Anyways, I consider, that Mukachevo always has a chance to improve itself.

Pravdivá Ostrava

Každé místo i město má svá skrytá tajemství, i své krásné i špatné stránky. Ostrava se pyšní svými významnými budovami, parky a lesy, jenže už to také není, co dříve. V krásných parcích sídlí bezdomovci, feťáci a úchylové, až se většina lidí bojí jít parkem samotní. Každý rodný Ostravák zná nebezpečný a hrozivý Přívoz plný nepřizpůsobivých lidí, a naopak krásné Komenského sady. Sice Ostrava nepatří mezi nejzelenější, nejhistoričtější a nejčistší města, ale je tu krásně, BO je to Ostrava!!!

Nejhezčí je asi ranní pohled na Bolatice. Naše obec leží v údolí, proto je na ni hezký výhled a ten se mi podařil zachytit.

Nejméně se mi líbí asi tahle část Bolatic. Budova nemá pořádnou fasádu a je v ní posilovna. Když je hezké počasí, tak to nevypadá díky stromům a trávě špatně, ale když prší, působí to dost depresivně.

Každé město má svou krásu. Také každé město má své mouchy. Toto je Ostrava. Zatímco každý by vám ukázal jen krásy, já vám ukážu oboje.

První fotka je z centra města. Nenechte se moc mýlit, ze shora vypadá pěkně, že ano? Ano, také je. Koukat se takto na město, ve kterém jste se narodili... Mrzí mě, že Ostrava nepatří mezi nejčistčí města. Má mnoho památek, a když víte, kam jít, znáte i moc pěkná místa.

Odvrácenou tvář města ukazuje následující druhá fotka. Takové bezdomovecké tábořiště najdete skoro všude. Stačí zajít do nějakých uliček a je možné, že něco takového najdete. Je velmi nepříjemné něco takového vidět a také vidět to každý den, když chodíte do školy nebo ze školy.

Další fotkou je Porubský oblouk a za ním krásný měsíc. Poruba je dost velká část města a odvážila bych se říci, že i celkem čistá. Za 10 let, co jsem v Porubě bydlela, jsem potkala velmi málo bezdomovců a viděla jen málo ,,skládek".

Kontrastem k této fotce je nedávný výbuch v chemičce v Mariánských Horách. Poblíž naší školy. V chemickém závodu došlo k výbuchu etylanilinu. Tyto výbuchy našemu už tak znečištěnému ovzduší moc nepomohou.

Do třetí a poslední dvojice jsem si vybrala moc krásný západ slunce. Mám jich mnoho, ale tento byl opavdu překrásný. S touto fotkou kontrastuje dům, který byl velmi dlouho opuštěný, dlouho neměl žádného vlastníka, a tak chátral. V průběhu delší doby se do něj stěhovali bezdomovci a dům byl opravdu hnusný. Vařili tam drogy, byly tam srazy bezdomovců, mnoho hluku a odpadků. Dům vykoupili a současně pracují na jeho obnovení, vyčištění a rekonstrukci.

Na konec bych chtěla říci, že každé město je svým způsobem krásné a každé město má své obyvatele, kteří jej mají rádi i s jeho chybami.

Zaporizhzhia is a city of workers, farmers and builders, where there was work, but there were no favorable conditions for life. Therefore, the signs of a workers' city are more pronounced than the signs of a tourist city

Like anything in our world, Zaporizhzhia has its beauties and downsides, but, despite its challenges, for me, it remains a vibrant city with its unique character and attractions.

Beauties of Zaporizhzhia:

Dnipro River: Zaporizhzhia is situated on the banks of the beautiful Dnipro River, which offers scenic views.
Khortytsia Island: This large island in the Dnipro River, located within the city limits, is a national nature reserve and a historical site. It offers stunning natural landscapes, historical monuments, and outdoor activities, making it a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.

Ostrava is a city full of wonderful places. The city is made of beautiful man-made buildings that hold meaning and culture is all around. It wouldn't be so if it wasn't for the humans living in it, as we see in the picture of the highway, as our city is known for its bad environment and dirty air. I think that people don't have the time to appreciate what we have nowadays, and what beauty our city holds if we only looked right.

It is very difficult to talk about your hometown after the shelling. It is difficult to look at all these ruins of a once good city. Zaporozhzhia is beautiful with its nature and people. But fate decided otherwise. It's all destroyed. Houses of animals and people were destroyed. The unique city was wiped off the face of the earth by frankly nasty people. They don't know what love and care is, so others will not be allowed to feel it. I believe that my city will recover in the future and be more beautiful than ever.

A place that is always crowded
A place that is lit up with lanterns
A place where you can always see the Dnipro River, flowing to from one bank to the other
A place where you don't notice how quickly time passes
A place where you have fun
with friends, parents, sisters or brothers.....
This place is full of so many different emotions and feelings that you don't have enough fingers to count them all.
But each place has its own disadvantages...
Destroyed houses, air alarms, explosions,
fear on people's faces, murdered people and animals.
The war destroyed only part of the beauty of Zaporizhzhia.
The other part was destroyed by ourselves.
The pollution of air, water, land - we did it all.
Isn't it interesting? On the one hand, we create beauty, and on the other hand, we destroy it.
We should think about it......

Ireland is very beautiful. The beaches in southern Dublin reminded me of some tropical islands. Compared to Ostrava, Dublin is different universe. I am really thankful for this opportunity.
