We need to keep being well prepared for our own commitments. We need to keep showing our students love and caring.

We can get better if we challenge ourselves to look beyond ourselves and support the team (ex: be in the hallways, support others...). Commit to team goals (house/department obligations). Communicate what you need (longer house, less department meetings, support to fulfill obligations...) and listen to others regarding what they need.

Statement of affirmation:
- DYB was the highest rated core value because as individuals we are incredibly dedicated and go the extra mile for our students, and as a team we see and appreciate the hard work out co-workers are putting in.

Statement of challenge:
- Are we overworking and burning out? Interesting to note that curiosity is the lowest core value…are we falling into the "grind" without making space for innovation?
- We need to work to not get caught up with rankings…if we are not the "#1 high school" in Denver, or do not have the highest data in the network, this shouldn't feel like a failure. We need to practice more positive self-talk and celebrate our own achievements, not just those of the team.
