I grew up in province of Amatugan, Tuburan, Cebu and currently living in this province now. I spent many hours hearing my grandparents reminisce about their early years.

During my elementary days I studied at Amatugan elementary school and in highschool and senior high school I studied at Ireneo V. Diamante NHS at Kabangkalan Tuburan Cebu. And now I am a College student at CTU- Tuburan where I can explore new opportunities and learn😊

The accomplishment I'm most proud of is seeing my family's happiness when I graduated high school with awards of outstanding students in class. And at the young age of 16, during the difficult pandemic years I tried to work, even from a distance, to provide my family, even a small amount of money to buy their food and others needs at home. And now I'm attending college level to pursuing my dreams for my family😊.

What are some of the challenges I've face in life?

feel like an outsider because I've been the family's second choice all the time. It has been traumatizing, and I feel lonely and unimportant. My father wasn't encouraging even when I was in college, but I persisted because I'm doing this for my family, not for myself, so we can have a better life. I faced a lot of judgement and criticism about pursuing my education, but now I'm in college striving to prove them wrong.

How this challenges shape me as a person?

The challenges I've face really help me to understand what the real meaning of life and this shape me as a person who am I today. I am an independent woman and have a wiser thinking than before. Those challenge help me a lot for improving myself into a better one. I know that there will be more trials in the future.

My only goal is to have a happy life and stable work in the future, spoiling my family to buy what they want that we can't afford right now. I always put in mind that soon my family will be the proudest of my achievements, even if I'm not the best. All I want in the future is I will provide all the needs and wants for my family🥰.

Life is like a roller coaster ride we learn from our mistakes and correct what's wrong because that's how life goes. We learn to set limits for ourselves, knowing what we shouldn't do, and then enjoy life to the fullest.

My biggest influences are seeing my relatives who are successful and able to provide for their families' needs and wants. That makes me want to work hard, that my parents can experience what they haven't been able to because of our difficult situation. I look up to my relatives who have achieved success in life, and that motivates me to strive for more. Also, the people who have put me down because of our struggles and that's the another reason why I want to work hard and prove them wrong.
