This project can be used with a variety of age groups. This can be used with younger children who are new to using parts of speech, or with older individuals who need a quick refresher. This project would fit into a larger lesson plan mostly focused on grammar and sentence structure. The sentence difficulty can vary, as well as the sentence requirement.
The benefits of having a lesson plan like this on padlet are great. Students will be able to keep all of their information in one concise place. They will be able to see their own assigned part of speech as well as other students parts of speech. It makes it easier for students to have both a definition and an example in the same place. Teachers can respond to this padlet by quizzing students in person on the definitions of these parts of speech. If the teacher notices that students have trouble with one part of speech in particular they can take that and work it into the in class discussion.
