         <description><![CDATA[<div>Act 3 Scene 1<br>He instigated the fight with Tybalt, getting himself killed by Tybalt. His death pushed Romeo to take action and kill Tybalt, resulting in Romeo's banishment. Romeo's banishment in turn caused Juliet to lose her lover and thus pushed her to her "death".<br><br>Romeo says these lines after Mercutio's death, confirming his feelings:<br>"This day's black fate on more days doth depend. / This but begins to woe others must end." (3.1.124-125)<br>"Alive in triumph, and Mercutio slain! / Away to heaven, respective lenity, / And fire-eyed fury be my conduct now." (3.1.127-129)</div>]]></description>

Friar says, "Come, come with me... you shall not stay alone Till Holy Church incorperate two in one." <br><br>Romeo wants to run away with Juliet.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

(pg. 49 lines 113-118) It's written in the stars (fated) to happen<br>1.5: "My life is my foe's debt" (pg. 59 line 132) His life is doomed.<br>3.1: "O, I am Fortune's fool!" (pg. 125, line 142) Fate controls Romeo's actions.</div>]]></description>
