We had a exploratory walk to the University of Leeds Campus and checked out a few sculptures. We did a "Walk and Talk", a exploratory walk around Little London. There we identified local assets i.e. housing office and schools and how they shape that neighbourhood. This class focussed on mental health and nature. We reviewed how being out in nature benefits us mentally and healthily more so during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We explored the park itself and visited a city centre green space and discussed how important such spaces are for city centre workers and visitors especially keeping mentally healthy.
