Giraffes tend to live in the Savannah woodlands and semi-arid Savannah of Africa. A giraffe group called a Tower normally tends to have 10-20 giraffes. The wild giraffe population is 117,000.

Zebras,Antelope and Wildebeests all share the same habit as Giraffes. Also a lot of acacia trees are in their habit. This just happens to be the same tree that Giraffes love so much.

Ecosystem

In a Giraffes ecosystems there is many Abiotic factors including water,soil quality and temperature. The water of course is important to giraffes because it hydrates them and keeps them going. But the soil quality is important because it could act as a nutrient and mineral supplement for them. And the temperature is very important to Giraffes because they lose body heat more quickly because they have a bigger surface area. They also do not have a warm winter coat.

Biome

The savannah is the biome in which the giraffes live. The tropical savannah is a climate that is always warm or hot, no matter what climate. And in the driest month of the year there is only 60 mm of rain fall.
