Videos and practice activities can be assigned and integrated with Google Classroom so I can monitor student progress and check their understanding. Assigning Khan Academy resources allows the students to pause/rewind/replay as needed. Then, we will have more time in class for collaborative activities and student projects/applications of learning.

In order to verify that they have watched these, I'll ask them to take notes on what they see. From there, I can hit them with a quiz on the content. This quiz could stand alone in the grade book or simply add to another assignment. I think this would be a clever way to keep kids accountable, upload information BEFORE class, and allow students to build life skills such as time management and self-assessing.
