A little about me, I started school back in September 2024, so I am a fairly new student to Pacific Oaks College. Although I am new to the school fun fact, I was born in the same city Pacific Oaks resides in which is Pasadena, CA. I decided to return to school and finish something I left back in 2020. I was indecisive in what career path I wanted to take since my interest became very distinctive to each other. I began working with kids the summer I graduated from high school and since then I feel in love with helping, working with, and teaching kids. I currently work at a Charter Elementary School who I have been with for over three years!

I am a huge Dodger fan, I grew up going to these games with my grandparents and with my parents so I really cherish these moments where I get to enjoy with good baseball game with my loved ones. GOO DODGERS!!

Becoming that Teacher

I am pursing my teacher's credentials because becoming a teacher is not only a short-term goal, but also the first step toward fulfilling a much deeper, long-term purpose. Growing up, I encountered a staff where she helped guide me and listened to me while coming from a new country was hard. The experience and love I grew for her inspired me to become that person for future generations, someone who shows up, believes in students, and helps them realize their potential. Teaching is more than a career for me; its a calling.

Fashion Is Also Me

Fun Fact! I love to create and design. My interest for fashion began at a very young age where I always thought I would be a fashion designer which one day I will purse! I create looks and hope to inspire others.

A New Passion

Back in January my city and I went through hard times with the Eaton Fires and my home was one to be affected. After these hard times, my life froze and felt like I was living in the unknown for a month. I knew I needed to go out for some fresh air and getting back to moving my body. I was a walker/runner before but I couldn't take not being able to go out and see my front yard or neighbors. I research some indoor classes and I ran across a mat pilates and why not!I signed up for a class and since then I have not looked back. I found a space where I could be mentally and physically challenged in room where I am able to leave the outside world for an hour at the door.

Traveling is my therapy.

I love traveling when I get a chance, I travel mostly to my second home, Mexico City. When I have time off especially during holidays I fly out to enjoy some time with my family and enjoy some good food!
