Since its founding in 1886, the museum at the Cazenovia Public Library has provided educational experiences for local students, community members, and visitors alike. Housed in the 1840s Williams’ gothic revival house, the museum features exhibits on local culture, past residents’ love of collecting and a series of rotating art by revered local artists including Dwight Williams, Arthur Davies, William Boardman and Charles Welsh. Objects can be viewed in our local history exhibit, our Curiosities Room, and our Grand Tour Room featuring Ancient Egyptian objects, including an authentic mummy. Exhibit signs and printed guides help visitors gain insight into our collections. Our Digital Information Gateway (DIG) exhibit allows visitors to explore our collection digitally and learn more of the 1894 Grand Tour taken by collector Robert J Hubbard. Educational tours are available and conducted by our Two museum educators; please call ahead

Contact

Sitemap

Privacy Policy

Accessibility

Licensee Info

Terms & Conditions

Industry

CMoreNY

The Beat

Nomination Form

Newsletter

SIGN UP FOR
Enewsletter

REQUEST A
Guide

You can order or download the New York
State Travel Guide by clicking here.REQUEST A GUIDE
