My name is Gabriel Montano I am a junior in Cohea. I am sixteen years old and live with my mother and grandmother. Some of my hobbies and interests include running, playing basketball, playing instruments, and watching movies. A couple of my favorite movies, shows, and books include The Godfather movie trilogy, The Truman Show, and my favorite book being The Hatchet. When I’m bored most of the time I’ll entertain myself by doing a sport or spending time talking with my grandmother. If I’m hungry the meal I would usually eat would be fettuccine alfredo with chicken. My favorite restaurant to eat at would be El Churrascaso Grill with its large varieties of meats and dinner plates. Personally the coolest place I’ve been to in Miami would be the balloon museum it opens a few times during several months but the experience is unreal with you mostly using touch and sight to experience the museum.

When I grow up I see myself as a successful real estate marketer taking over my dad’s business. Personally if I had to pick a university to attend to learn more about business and marketing I would attend FIU since they have an incredible program which will allow me to learn more before heading into the business and real estate field fully. If I were to pursue my dream job when i grow older, I would want to pursue in marine biology as it involves my favorite subject.

I’m proud of my consistency with my athletics and making it to my first regional event in track. Some of my accomplishments include having a better life style and being more disciplined with training. Later on in life I hope to accomplish my goal of having financial freedom. If I had to pick my biggest strength they would be my urge to never give up in hard situations. If I had to pick my biggest weakness it would be my patience since I'm naturally very impatient. Personally as of right now in my life I’m very happy where I’m at but I know there's a lot of room to improve to get closer to my future goals in later years especially during college and adulthood.

Theres been many moments in my life where i’ve felt like I was on top of the world but if I had to pick my best moment it would be becoming eligible to compete in track regionals. This moment in my life felt special since I had to beat people who were above my level at the time in terms of endurance and stamina but after two years of not being able to make it there on my own to see myself finally make it to that level in my sport was truly incredible. Also quieting down the MLA crowd after their constant negative talk and screaming insults was nice.

If I had to pick my most embarrassing moment in my life it would be back in sixth grade where as a kid I thought it would be cool to play the recorder in front of my friends at the time. I brought it to the cafeteria and started playing until one of them asked for me to play the instrument with my nose which I actually ended up doing. There's still a video out there of me doing it an feeling carefree about the whole thing.

Personally if I was a teacher I would try to teach my students in a normalized way mostly notes and often tests and class work but I would indulge them to recommend books we should read in class so certain weeks class doesn’t feel as repetitive or boring. If I had to pick an assignment we should do in class we should do an assignment where we cover a new book as a class. If I had to pick a book for the class it would be The Hatchet since its my favorite book but also has some interesting topics especially on survival and living through danger.
