Over 900 trucks operate there and deliver more than 5,000 tonnes of solid waste every day.&nbsp;</div><div><strong><em><br>Why is it concerning:<br></em></strong>These landfills can be dangerous to the environment as plastic waste also releases harmful chemicals into the atmosphere.</div><div><strong><em><br>What I think can be the solution for it:</em></strong><br>In 2018, the Indonesian government has said that it is planning to introduce excise taxes on plastic producers.
