Why is it concerning:
Overfishing endangers ocean ecosystems and the billions of people who rely on seafood as a key source of protein. When too many fish are taken out of the ocean it creates an imbalance that can erode the food web and lead to a loss of other important marine life, including vulnerable species like sea turtles and corals

What I think can be the solution for it:
Reform, subsidies, and declaring certain areas of the sea off-limits to non-sustainable fishing

The issue:
The increase in marine debris on beaches decreased the time-number of days tourists spent on those beaches.
Why is it concerning:
It is concerning because the decline in the amount of time spent on tourism on these beaches will cause less money and a decrease in local jobs.
What I think can be the solution for it:
-Implement more coastal cleanups done on those beaches.
-increase the use of more recyclable materials like reusable bags, bottles, etc...
-Charge taxes on littering. (Charge taxes when someone is caught littering?)

Why is it concerning: Indonesia Produces 6.8 million tons of plastic per year. the research says that only 10% of the waste will ends up in the recycling centers and the rest of them will ends up in the ocean or the beaches. in this case imagine going to some beach and its polluted by a lot of plastics, and according to NGO based in Bali, Indonesia produces about 130,000 tonnes of plastic and solid waste every day.

What I think can be the solution for it: do your best to not buy single use plastic, dont throw away your trash in the ocean

Why is it concerning:
Ocean Acidification is considered to be a threat towards the coral reef ecosystems, because it reduces the availability of carbonate ions that reef-building corals need to produce their skeletons. It happens because of the uptake of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

The impacts of Ocean Acidification could be enormous. The change in ocean chemistry can lead to collapsing food webs, corrosive polar seas, dying coral reefs, and mass extinctions. Which could alter our food, water, and air forever.

What I think can be the solution for it:
The most affective way to reduce Ocean Acidification is to act on climate change, implementing solutions to dramatically reduce the use of fossil fuels.

In 2018, the Indonesian government has said that it is planning to introduce excise taxes on plastic producers. The exact figures haven’t been revealed yet, but observers are not expecting it to have much of an impact on plastic use.
