Animal rights activists have shown how animals are treated poorly; locked in small areas where they're practically squishing each other. This caused people to erupt and stop buying unnatural meat. Factory owners clearly aren't happy about this. If no one is buying their meat, then how will their business continue? No business, no money.

"Some supplements might help you get adequate amounts of essential nutrients. However, supplements can't take the place of the variety of foods that are important to a healthy diet. Sci- entific evidence shows that some dietary supplements are beneficial for overall health and for managing some health conditions." (pg. 11) Supplements causes a sudden side effect when first trying out the product. It is risky to take them instead of prescribed medicines. Also, taking too much is a health problem. This also goes for diet aids

I have a family member who has taken dietary supplements before. None of us knew they were taking it until the day they were hospitalized. He/she told us how they felt like "hell" the whole time. They got to a point where they didnt event know how many supplements they've been taking. At the time, I noticed their sudden change of behavior, but I thought they were just having a rough day (I only see the rest of my family like once every 2 months, so we aren't that close. I should've told someone else about it, but then again, I'm not really close to anyone in my family). He/she cried and cried, mumbling words like, "I shouldn't have done this." "I could've died!" It was a really devastating time, but it soon (took time) turned them into a better, stronger person.
