Imagine this, your dad just passed away and your mother is in dire need of help taking care of your 3 younger siblings. What should you do? Do you drop out off school in your sophomore year? Do you just hope your mom can handle it on her own? I would stay in school because of these 3 specific reasons that I am about to tell you about. I also think that schools should raise the dropout age to 18 years old because, students should be able to make this decision when they are older and smarter, you need a high school diploma to get into a good college, and getting a good job will be a lot harder without a diploma.

Imagine you are thinking of dropping out if school because you find it not interesting and you feel like you learn absolutely nothing. But you know what you want to do when you are older. What if we made a new school for students like you who don't find school interesting but at the school they taught you everything you want to know about the job you want to do in the future. Every student there has the same interests as you. Would that make you stay in school? If there was more than one way to graduate and still make a good living for yourself. There are things in school they don’t teach like finance or business. For example let's say you want to go into the business world this type of thing is for you. This is why i believe we shouldn’t read the graduation rate but try and find ways to make school more relevant.

And decide to dropout of school because I have a lamborghini and don't need to buy a subaru to go to college and have all the money in the world but then your parents take away your car and give you bike. And make you go to school but you already dropout and then you work in walmart with other people that also dropout of school then you realize if you stayed in school you could be the president of USA and fin out donald trump took away your job so that's why they should raise the dropout rate at 18.

Life is harsh, trying to keep up with others and struggling to keep up your health needs takes money, as well as most things do. But without a good career and education, it seems almost impossible. There’s nothing like having an easy life without worries on debt, but is it likely without a high school diploma? Most people think ‘no, you don’t have to’, but a decline in economy, social status, and success would disrupt the comfortable life you strive for. In life, you need to get uncomfortable to eventually be comfortable.

We have all been there, sitting next to that one person who never wants to be at school. They just don’t want to be there, and that makes you not want to be there either, and some are saying make them stay in school by raising the pre-graduation age even though they’re damaging others capabilities to learn. So, i don’t want to raise the pre-graduation age, i think it should stay the way it is because, there are other ways to lower pre-graduation rates, it causes more problems than it solves, and some people may need to drop out for personal problems.

Sadly this happens millions of times a year. This needs to stop. We need to raise the pre graduation age to 18 because kids who drop out tend to have a negative impact over their life, the longer you stay in school the more money you could earn, and people who drop out normally have a lower job satisfaction.

I believe that the pre-graduation age should not be raised because some people have personal business that needs to be taken care of and can't go to high school and take care of that business. And if schools not relevant to the student he or she won't want to be there. Lastly the student might get stressed out from going to school so, he or she might cope with that stress but drinking or doing drugs instead of dropping out.

He wasn't earning enough money and often times had to call and ask his parents for rent money all because of the choices and decisions he made as a teenager. He wants to fix his life but without a diploma that is hard. I believe we need to raise the pre dropout rate to age 18 to help people be successful and not have to ask your parents for rent money. Some reasons why i believe students should not drop out of school is because highschool drop out are proven to have lots of negative impacts. Also if you don't have your highschool diploma it will be hard to find a good paying job and it will be hard to support yourself and your family. My last reason why i believe students should not drop out of school is because there are other ways to solve the problem with out dropping out people are here to help and this needs to stop millions of kids all over the world are dropping out of school everyday

I don’t think we should raise the pre-graduation rate because you can still be successful in the long run!! Many celebrities have dropped out of school and look where they are now, they worked hard and became actors singers and much more. A couple of examples of celebrity drop out are Johnny depp and actor and music artist in his own band, eminem and rapper and actor, Ryan gosling an actor, jim carrey actor and comedian and even Drake! A famous actor and rapper. So i think that we shouldn’t raise the pre-graduation rate because this just shows that you can still be successful and it happens more often then you think. Not all kids drop out of school and become low-lifes that are lazy takes these few people that millions people look up to for an example.:)

Could you imagine if that mom didn't get to love her child because she had to give the kid up to adoption because she got pregnant in highschool and was not allowed to drop out to take care of the kid because the pre graduation age was 18. This is a reality for many girls in highschool so i believe we should not raise the pre graduation age for these three reasons, problems at home, death in the family, or a pregnancy.

The boy that dropout of school at age 16 has done may wonders with his life. Even tho he didn't get his high school diploma and didn't go to college he still his very successful. He started working for his dad then companies all learning more and more. Now he owns a very successful business of his own without the schooling other kids had. Stories like this have happened to many kids across the globe, but if the pre-graduation rate is raised to 18 kids won't be able to follow their dreams just like this boy. I think we shouldn't raise the pre-graduation rate to 18.

If not the student may become one of those people outside of stores asking for money for their drugs especially cigarettes. The money that a hobo asked for, of a sign saying how poor his/her life is happening, he/her buy dog food for his/her dog instead themselves because the hobo didn’t graduate to find a stable life for them or their dog ( if they even decide to get one). All students have to stay in school at the age of 18 or until graduated because the student won’t find success in life, have negative impacts in their life or consequences, and if even if a student makes a responsible decision to leave school for work, that decision is likely to have a negative impact over the course of the student’s lives.

As he walked out of the restaurant with that sad droopy face, did you notice that he was walking home in the rain. Since this guy did not finish school and dropped out therefore he is only making about minimum wage and can not afford that car to just drive home from work. I bet he’s wishing he could go back in time to change what he did just to have steady job where he could afford the things he needs to live. Don’t let this happen to other teens nowadays so let’s raise the pre-graduation to eighteen so kids don’t have to suffer because of income rates, or ending up in jail, prison, or public assistances and we can even have educators find away to make school more relevant.
