         <description><![CDATA[<div>The temple is built on floating land surrounded by water with blocks of sandstone. It has a three level pyramid which composed of nine towers  each at 60 meters tall. The reason was to represent five central towers of the mythical holy mountain in Hindu mythology know as Mount Meru "home of the gods". <br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>One of the inscription on the wall of the temple were apsara dancers they were beautiful maidens that were born as an outcome of the Chuming of the ocean of milk. Back in the 12 century it was known that the dancers only performed at the Royal Court. They wore beautiful headpieces along with silk clothing and gold accessories. </title>

         <title>As of today the temple is 900 years old with over 1 million tourists. There is a code of conduct guideline if you were to visit you can&#39;t wear revealing clothing, you have to wear long pant covering the knees due to being in a religious site </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When the temple  was built it was a Hindu temple coveying to  King Suryavarman II loyalty to the Hindu deity Vishnu. Suryavarman II was a religious reformer who merged the spiritual cults of Vishnu and Shiva extraordinary deities, and implement  Vaishnaivsm as the former religion. </div>]]></description>

The sites unique architecture and it&#39;s appeal as a mythical &quot;lost city&quot; have helped to popularize it in the Western imagination.  Angkor wat was established  as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992. </title>
