ISTE Standards relate to technology and how it can be used in the classroom to further students learning. Performance Assessment refers to students being required to perform a task that related to a ready made list. Together you can use technology to enhance your assessments and give students the best opportunity to grow and learn. You can also use a variety of online sites and programs to test a students knowledge while also having fun. ISTE standards and Performance assessments are good ways to see what a student does and does not know.

A performance assessment is a physical action that a student does to demonstrate knowledge and in the standards, the students must show their knowledge through tasks too.
