Xbox is a popular gaming console and my personal favorite. I have spent countless hours playing different games, such as the most recent NHL game. They have several different consoles over the years and the most recent one is the Series X.

Pinterest is a visual discovery and bookmarking platform launched in 2010. It allows users to collect and share ideas through digital “pins” and “boards,” covering everything from fashion and food to education and home décor. Pinterest’s mission is to help people discover inspiration and turn their ideas into reality.

I use Pinterest often for creative inspiration, whether it’s classroom ideas, ministry visuals, or design concepts. It’s my go-to space for discovering fresh ideas and organizing them in a way that feels personal and motivating.

In 1994 he began creating the system that would later be known as Bluetooth, making possible wireless connections between various types of electronic devices.

Fun fact: Bluetooth connectivity grew from about 11 yards in its first generation to 262 yards in its fifth.

This is one tech many of us have gotten used to or take for granted ie. earbuds, albeit it is interesting to see people seeking out wired options nowadays also. I personally love and continue to use the connectivity of a Bluetooth speaker when I travel.

Name of Founders: Chris Barton, Philip Inghelbrecht, Dhiraj Mukherjee, and Avery Wang

In the summer of 1999, while on an internship in his MBA program, Barton conceived of the idea for Shazam as a service to enable consumers to find out what songs were playing where music could be heard, based on recording the song's audio and pattern-matching it to a database of songs. After conceiving the idea for Shazam, Barton co-founded the company in 2000, along with co-founders Philip Inghelbrecht and Dhiraj Mukherjee, and later, Avery Wang as the fourth co-founder.

The Switch was the first home gaming console to allow players to unplug their games from the TV and take the exact same experience on the go. This innovation prompted other companies to try their hand at similar products.

OpenAI was founded in 2015, and their first generative pre-trained transformer, or GPT, was created in 2018, thus laying the groundwork for ChatGPT. They followed up their GPT-1 with GPT-2 in 2019 and GPT-3 in 2020, with each successive GPT being trained on more and more parameters (GPT-3 was trained on a whopping 175 billion parameters)! While GPT-3's release in 2020 had many of the interactive capabilities we see today, it was not until ChatGPT's release in late 2022 that the generative AI technology exploded. OpenAI released a demo, which spread like wildfire on social media as individuals exchanged the possibilities of the technology. Within 5 days the software had over a million users, and today, the number of weekly users is approaching one billion.
