I wrote a bunch and the note was deleted! Anyway just to say that I'm looking forward to deepening my knowledge. I have been working with Erie County RJ Coaltion (Andrew Prinzing, Dina Thompson) to develop some training here as well. I'm interested in learning more about system change and RJ in P-12 and HE. I am teaching students about RJ at the undergraduate and graduate level. I have some books I have discovered... learning on the go :)

I assume we all know each other, but for those who may not know me, I wear many hats in the school of education, one of which is teaching special education courses at the graduate and undergraduate level. In my work with school districts, I have learned that one skill they are desperate for in mew teachers in the ability to teach children who have experienced or are experiencing trauma. I feel it is necessary to incorporate these practices into my courses on some level and I am hopeful that this work in restorative practices will help me to do that.
