I loved how it was based on a true story and how, in the credits, they showed the characters with the real people that they were portraying. I haven't seen that before, but I thought it was a great idea. Also, I just loved the plot of the movie. It really just showed how hard-work and perseverance can make dreams happen. Phiona wanted a house for her mother, and she became a Master play so she could buy the house. Community is supposed to be a loving group of people who support you when you need it. I think that community was built in Katwe after Phiona started coming home with trophies. In the beginning, there wasn't that feeling of community. When you needed help or supplies or money, you usually had to figure out how to do it on your own. NJCO, in Reading, works as a soup kitchen, a food pantry, and is a weekly clothing center for people in need in the community. The Kutztown Park offers a variety of activities and amenities to explore. There are multiple baseball and softball fields, numerous pavilions and tables with benches, Keith Haring statues, a snack-stand in the summer, a football field, tennis courts, a playground, a band shell, and even an enclosed rink (which could work for field hockey, rollerblading, etc.). The Kutztown Park has many things to do, and holds many events to get the community involved.
