Read about Creative Commons licensing options at https://creativecommons.org/. Create a lesson, infographic, presentation, etc. about a topic of your choice.  Assign the appropriate Creative Commons license to your work and publish it on a blog or social media post. 

As your students create content and as part of your information literacy instruction, teach them about Creative Commons licensing options. Younger students may use Creative Commons to search for information and images. Older students might be encouraged to create a license to assign to their own work. Identify locations in your curriculum where your students can naturally learn about the Creative Commons.

Prepare and deliver a short presentation/discussion about equitable access to education stakeholders at your school or district.  The presentation and discussion might be delivered at a staff meeting, a technology committee meeting, a parent night, or another gathering of an appropriate audience.  Submit your presentation and a summary/reflection of the discussion that took place.

OR

Research restorative justice practices and discuss these ideas with administrators or colleagues as possible alternatives to address disciplinary issues in your classroom or school. Create a presentation that includes a review of the research you conducted. Include in your presentation your reflections on how this alternative response to digital infractions might positively impact your school's culture. Also include at least one specific suggestion for a change in your district's/campus's approach to "digital discipline."

Identify a lesson you teach that contains (or could be enhanced by) opportunities for learners to make positive, socially responsive contributions to an online community. Outline 5-10 ways that you might involve your learners in creating or contributing to positive, empathetic online interactions.   If you have the opportunity to introduce your ideas to your learners, write a reflection on your students' reactions and how their online interactions might have been impacted.

Create a presentation for your staff using the tool of your choice to explain your findings on the privacy policies of the sites/apps you investigated. Your presentation should include

Identify a problem of practice in your situation, and curate a list of online resources to be used in a professional development activity with staff by searching, evaluating, and selecting the most appropriate and relevant resources for your learners.  As you present the list to your staff, discuss the searching and evaluation strategies you used and invite staff to search for and evaluate additional resources to add to the list.  Submit your final list and a reflection of staff participation in developing it.
