🐆 VOICE ACTUATED INTERFACE :
Definition
- A voice - actuated environment operator system of the kind which enables a user/patient to use simple voice commands to control a plurality of hospital environment room function commands. The controller card includes a plurality of relay switch devices, each of which are dedicated to performing a specific bed movement or room function.

Function
- User to initiate automated services
- Execute user day to day tasks in a faster, more intuitive manner.

Example
-Siri
-Google
-Assistant
-Alexa

Advantage
-The user does not need to be trained in how to use the interface.
- More flexibility than a dialogue interface.
-Suitable for physically handicapped people.

Disadvantage
- Reliability remains an issue-the interface can only respond to commands that have been programmed.
- Not widely available as other form of interface are often superior.
- Highly complex to program and so only warrants this kind of interface where other types of interface are unsuitable 🍓

My group is about voice actuacted interface (VAI). The function of it to help handycap user to help them do their daily tasks. The sound or voice user will be stored in to use another time. Disadvantage of it is not widely use because of expensive.

My group introduced about the Graphical User Interface. GUI is a computer program that enables to communicate with a computer through the use of symbols,visual metaphors,and pointing devices. For the example of GUI is Apple Inc,Microsoft and Windows. GUI is a visual way of interacting with a computer using items. Types of user interface that allows user to interact with electronic devices. GUI were intoduced in reaction to the perceived steep learning curve of command-line interfaces. This action in a GUI are usually performed through direct manipulation of the graphical elements. GUI are used in many handheld mobile devices such as MP3 players,portable media players,gaming devices,smartphones and smaller household,office and industrial controls. GUI tends not to be applied to other lower-display resolution.
