Ring-tailed lemurs are like pandas but they’re skinnier and have tails. Their tail is long and its black and white that is why its called a ring-tailed lemur. The lemurs feet are good for climbing trees. Their long furry tail is good for hanging onto things, especially branches.

Also they don’t weigh that much when they are fully grown they weigh 27 - 39 KG. In addition their fur is one of the thickest types of fur in the world they can come in different colours like brown, grey, beige and even black, their fur is dense because it traps the water and keeps them nice and warm. Their feet are shaped like paddles that help them swim. The hippopotamus is a herbivore. What this means is that they are vegetarians and only eat plants, grass and grains. There favourite plants to eta are reeds. They find their food in water so they don’t have to get out of the water. Since the Hippo is a very large creature it is often a mistake that people make about its eating habits.
