There is a lot of information to consider. My challenge will be in synthesizing the information and determining where to start.

these challenges?

I plan to go through the information and make a specific plan about which aspects are most important for my school and how those can be addressed and then implemented.

VALUE - communication between leaders, teachers, parents, students

CONCERNS - parents, teachers, students do not always understand expectations or practices of the IB program

SUGGEST - 1) video clip messages to parents of expectations/practices 2) coaching/mentoring  program specific to IB for new teachers 

Value: Important to have a focus and a plan for the work.

Concerns: Engaging external environments: engagement beyond the walls.

Suggest: Prioritize the learning engagements as you lead the learning. Small steps can lead to big gains.

What are ways to evidence your growth?

Value---As a part of the leadership team, we will identify the key mission of the school and center everything on the big picture.

Concern--

How do you get the buy in from teachers to be willing to stand up and teach a portion of a lesson in a collaboration meeting?

Suggest--

Leadership team will model first.

At my school collaboration is a struggle piece for some teams. As a school leader what is most important when making team groupings?

Value

I really like when it's stated that “teaching and learning happens in multiple contexts or environments that are embedded in one another".

I value this because our school has low parent involvement, and a very limited amount of field trips. I feel that leadership team should work to change these problems, as the whole community can be a place for learning.

Concerns

I am concerned about parent involvement due to the limited participation in events where parents are invited.

Suggestions

I am suggesting that the leaders in my school continue to create avenues in order to get parents involved.
