         <description><![CDATA[<div>I learned in the video that when we learn something new, or try to attempt to learn something new, we actively try to organize it in our memories to shape it and remember it. There are also three stages of how we store our memory when we learn something new. These stages include: Sound memory, Short-term memory (STM), and Long-term Memory (LTM). <br>I also learned that we can keep something for longer in STM to LTM, if we repeat it to ourselves over and over which is called maintenance rehearsal.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sound memory: The first stage, we focus on novel or important stimuli, which maybe only be there for a few moments.<br>Short-term memory: The second stage, five to nine items can stay in STM for up to 30 seconds. Enough time for the brain to either use the information or decide to let it go/pass it on.<br>Long-term memory: The third stage, occurs when we organize the material in a meaningful way such as categories and subcategories. </div>]]></description>
