I/ Yes to work in group is good because, we can talk together and share our ideas. Because the people in the group do not always have the same idea, then this allows to do more activities, more quickly. Work is often better, because the other character can say if it's good or not. This allows the people to prepare for the future life in businesses. For some people that helps to understand of the documents, and this is good for the communication, because it is necessary to talk to agree with each other. When we are people who do little work, to see other people work makes us want to work, there is also the support and caring together. For example if someone is not strong to answer the question, maybe one other person is able to answer, and conversely, also alone we are forced to answer ourselves. And it may give a goal to the people because they feel helped by the other people of the group. 

 

II/ The work in group may also have a disadvantage like it the people in the group are not motivated for work suddenly they work less other not at all, then if we don't like the people with who there's no affinity it gives not any desire for work. If the people haven't the same ideas it leads to a disagreement. The problem us also, if just one does not work, and all the group have bad grades... The people can have a good influence on the people “weak” but, the bad people can also have an influence and result the group down. To succeed in group work it is necessary to know to concentrate. Like some person have not the same ideas it may lead to confusion to understand the others. In some groups all people don't work, but for the group to have one good agreement it is necessary that everybody works, and everybody has the same amount of work. So group work depends on people. 

Why I like team work 

 

Group works are very good for the mood of basic work. It can be very beneficial for the members to share their ideas with the others. It can help us/them to make a better work together, especially if the members get allong well, the work can be a pleasant activity contrary to bad expectations. In group works, I like to be with people who can do both : Joke and work seriously. It's a part of pleasure when we have done a good work and when we can be proud of it. It's more cool to work in groups, but it depends on the members. This allows to make a better job in a minimum of time. Some subjects or questions can be more included and we can divide the tasks so it's more motivating.  We are more efficient in groups. 

 

Why I don't like team work 

 

Sometimes, It can be very boring or annoying. When the members don't like each others it's hard to work in good conditions and do a good job. When team members aren't selected based on affinity, it can cause rivalry and it's not good in a group first, and even more to create a great work. If the opinions are too different and competing, this can sometimes cause some susceptibility. If the communication is bad in the group, this can have a bad impact on the harmony of it. The group may have difficulty in planning their work. 

 During the school year, we must complete works in groups. 

Personally, I appreciate group work generally. But, in reality, everything depends on the person with whom I work. I had a friend since my childhood named Maelys, we have always been in the same class and since high school we have done our workgroup together. We work very well together because, firstly, we have the same school level and that also allows us to train because she is more talented in some areas and me in others. I trust Maelys when we work together because it has become a habit and I know  our work will be better if we are two ! In this year's Literary 6th form, we even had to write a story with our partner and we managed to agree and we got organized the three ofus, it was great ! 

        

        On the other hand, when I have to work with somebody else for the group work, I have a lot difficulty. I'm always afraid that if I divide the work with another person, that one does not make it appropriately. In this case, I feel obliged to verify everything and I would also be capable of beginning again everything. For example, I had to redo my presentation of French alone because my friend did not have to work. On another level points of view with the companion can be differents and it is a problem and it's an enormous waste of time. It can also be difficult to transmit our ideas to our group which often leads to misunderstandings. When friends decide to do group work together, it can be difficult because lack of concentration and the urge to speak may be present. 

To me, the activites we do in groups with the students from Spain are mainly really interesting  because first of all, we meet new people with different cultures and they may have different ways of working. The fact that we’re working together on the same project enables us to share our ideas and find more possibilities of answers. It’s not such a big problem to communicate with the spanish students. 

However, it might be very problematic for others because of the language barrier. Or maybe you don ‘t get along with your partner but in that case, you should still be able to talk to him for school. 

So, I think working with partners from a different country can help us improve ourselves and the work we have to do together even though it might be problematic for some people. 

First, I think it’s a good thing to work in group because we can help each other and it creates an exchange of cultures. It allows us to share our ideas and improve our level. We get to know people from different countries (Spain). It also make the whole class progress. 

But, it can get complicated because of the communication. They’re far from us and they may not work enough because we can’t actually talk verbally. 

On the whole, I think working in groups is a good thing, it helps us share ideas and cultures.
