I find it fascinating that through the spatial placement of the set of objects, the spectators can be informed and made to feel differently than if the same collection of items has been positioned in another way. It's about selecting material that has some kind of connection, either thematically, or in the response it elicits. You bring together a collection, with meaning and intention. In an exhibition context, the connection then ideally extends to the audience, even if it is only felt through one display.
