Mean, Medium, and Mode:

These are the most important concepts as Math deals with a lot of data and data sets. Of course, you would need to know which is which (like what is the average speed of all reptiles) so Mean,

Medium, and Mode gotcha covered.

Mean is the calculation of the average number or outcome of a data set. The formula is the sum of the data set/how many elements are in the set.

Median: The middle of the data set. The formula is: to put all numbers in numerical order. But sometimes there is no way of calculating the median in even or large data sets. Then, we can pick the numbers that are technically in the middle and we can find the mean of those numbers and then divide it by 2. The result are the answers.

Mode: It is to calculate the most numbers/elements or a phenomenon/value that occurs in a data set. The data set must have re-occurring numbers/elements in order to calculate the mode. Just rearrange the numbers accordingly and see which ones are the most reoccurring (or use a frequency table).

In this video I learned new information on mean median and mode. Firstly I learned what is data sets which are the result of a servery or scientific learning. I also learned new information about mean median and mode. About mean I learned that mean is average. Mean means to get the equal average numbers for ex {1,2,3,4,5} the mean is 3. For median i understood that the middle of a arranged set is called median. Fun fact Median and mean can be same or some time different. For my understanding of mode is it's a word for most often for ex of this is

{1,2,3,3,4,3,3,5,5,5} the mode will be 5.

Arya

From the video I basically learned that mean is just a different term or word for the average of a data set. The median is simply the middle of the data set such as {1,2,3]. The number 2 in that set is the median and finally to put it simply the mode is the average data value from a data set. Such as {1,2,6,6}, The number 6 is the mode because it repeated the most often. To summarize everything, mean is another term for average. Median means the middle of the data set and finally mode means the most repeated data value Note: These 3 are one of the most important things in calculating data and statistics. some forms displaying data are bar graph, line graph, hectograph etc.

I learned from the videos that there are many ways to collect data but the main ways I learned are mean median and mode . Mean is basically the average of the data collection . suppose you have 6 cats and your friend has 2 cats , the average amount of cats that your friend has is 4 because 4 is the most consistent out of them . there is also a formula where you add all the numbers and then divide them by how many statistics you have got for example you 2pizzas and your mom has 20 pizzas . so first of all you add the pizzas which makes 22 and there are 2 people so you divide it by 2 which = to 11 .there is also median which is basically the middle number in this data . here is and example (1, 2 , 4 ,7 ,9 ) there are 5 numbers and they are given in an order . the middle number of this question is 2 as it is right in the middle . and that is really all to median .Another form of data is mode where you find the most common number for example ( 3 , 5 , 5 ,3 ,3 ,5 ,5 ) in this question there a 3 threes and 5 fours and that's all to mode . there's nothing else and that's what I

learned from this video

Statistics is the study of the collection or the organization of the data we collect. We can use statistics to estimate the budgets in our household. The mean or the average is one of the technique used to represent the data collected. It is an extremely useful property. Mean is basically the value we get if we could smooth out or flatten the different datas collected into one consistent value. The median is the middle of the data set. It is the number that splits the data into two equal halves. One half contains numbers that are greater to the median or equal. The other contains numbers that are less or equal to the median. The mode is the value of the data set that occurs the most often. -Kaveri
