One way is by having children act out what is happening in a nursery rhyme! This can be done in a whole or small group setting.

Another fun way to incorporate drama would be for all students to be given a card. Each student will have a card with a picture that rhymes with one other student. Students will go around the room and only use actions to describe their word, and find their match. For example if the rhyming words are "cat and hat", one student may meow like a cat and the other may demonstrate putting on a hat.
