Her name is Cathy Freeman. 
She is born in Queensland and she is from the aboriginal background.

She faced some difficulty as  many other Aboriginals during childhood, however she managed to achieve a scholarship program and was able to attend a boarding school and had opportunities to study and train.

  • she won the commonwealth gold medal at the age of 16; the youngest Australian to do so.
  • she won Olympic gold medal in 2000 and also silver medal back in 1996. she won both of the medals in 400m event.
