The Revolution encouraged English and British writers, Edmund Burke and Thomas Paine to share their opinion and ideas about the French Revolution. Thomas Paine strongly opposed Burke's beliefs, arguing that argues the current "revolution" generation needs to be in control of society and to not be under the control the society formed by the earlier generation.
