This could be a big problem in later years because people that go to the ocean can't see any fish. It also can be a huge problem because people that eat fish could not eat marine life anymore. That means it is endangering the fish. Places that make sushi could go out of business because they have none to sell. For example, it says “Shrimp, cod, tuna, and many more could become extinct in less than 30 years.” That proves that fish are becoming extinct due to overfishing and it's a big problem that needs to be stopped. Another reason is “In a method called trawling is where you get a net and pick fish up from behind.” This is a big problem because it is catching and killing fish that weren't supposed to be caught. That's why I think overfishing should be stopped.

another solution to make the problem better is making catching limits. By making catching limits it means people can only catch a certain amount of fish and not kill more than they need. Another solution is utilizing fish farms. Utilizing fish farms can be good because it is making the fish farms bigger and better for more fish to reproduce and be healthier. I know that more fish will be healthy and thriving and this is a good thing.

Senator Stabenow I think we need to stop overfishing because it is a big problem and a lot of fish are dying, this process is going to make it better for fish to be more healthy and thrive.
