    3. Author
    Who wrote this article? What are their credentials? Is this person real?

    5. Claims
    Does it claim to cure cancer/ extend your life/ make you a millionaire? Then, its most likely not true.

    6. Biases
    Is this story overly emotional?
    Does it favor one group over another?
    Is this story a satire?

    7. Ask an Information professional

    If unsure, go ask a librarian! They will be delighted to answer your questions and offer their help and expertise!
