1) Agent Orange, a chemical substance consisting of two herbicides, was created in 1943 and used in Vietnam to deforest areas for easy bomb control. This was later used in Southern Vietnam on "Trail Dust" to contaminate a large portion of the land.

2) The most popular form of gas mask used during the Vietnam War was the M17, issued in 1959. It was mostly used by its loss of canister, replaced by a thin material for breathing.
