In our first lesson last Monday we first went through a presentation about expectations in class and we talked about movement skills, acting skills and general things about what we're going to be learning this term. We then played a game where we had to. come up with a word that was the same letter as our name, for example I picked Jumping Jasmine. You also had to pick a movement that went with whatever word it was that you picked. We had to to it one after the other, it was a bit nerve wracking for me because I don't like it when all the attention's on me but for some reason when I play a character it's less stressful because I know what's going to happen. I quite liked it because it was quite funny when other people were making their movements. I liked the second game better because it was slightly less pressure, you had to walk towards someone, and the person you were walking towards them had to say your name before you reached them, it could be bad if no one knew your name and you were stuck walking around for ages. I quite liked it because it helped me remember people's names.

I really enjoyed our second session with Sheena on Thursday because it was really enjoyable. The warm up game that we played with Sheena that we played was really fun. We were in a big circle and Sheena was in the middle and she would point to someone and say bibbidi bibbidi and then you would have to finish it by saying bop before she did. I really liked this game because it tested your memory skills and your reaction time.I was also really good at it I managed to make it to the final 4.Sheena made it harder by adding in other things like if she said bop you had to remain quiet and this one got a lot of people out that didn't remember the rule. In addition she also made it harder by adding an action, what I mean by this is that she would say that she would say do an action, like brushing your teeth, tying your shoe lace, and the twist was you couldn't do the same as someone else. This was the part that got me out because I'm not to well at thinking things on the spot

We walked around in our characters which was quite easy for me because I am quite similar to my character who’s also a female teenager. But I did find it hard to stay concentrated when other people start laughing Then we did an exercise where we did emotions like frustration, sadness, excitement and anger, I found this quite hard because it takes me a while to get into character
