Good Afternoon! I wanted to give you some updates on a new system I will be implementing in my classroom called Genius Hour. This system allows students to take time out of each day to explore the things that they are interested in. They are able to learn about this topic in a way that is most beneficial to them. This is a very independent time for them to do what they want. I will be letting them do as much work on their own as possible, but I will be there to help them and let them bounce ideas off me. This will be an opportunity for them to explore their interests For those of you that are unfamiliar with this idea there is a chart provided below to help you understand the concept of this learning style. We will have genius hour for about 20 minutes everyday before lunch. If you have any other questions or concerned feel free to contact me. I can't wait to see what you're children come up with!
