Today, April 25th of 1467, has taken place the start of the Second revolt. Why? I will explain you:

The First revolt, in 1431 broke out in Pontedeume and Betanzos, and spread to the bishoprics of Lugo, Mondoñedo and Santiago de Compostela. The revolt was led by a fidalgo of low status, Roi Xordo, of A Coruña, who died in the reprisals after the revolt was suppressed in 1435.
Now we count with 80,000 troops (peasants, city-dwellers, the lower nobility, and even some members of the clergy). Opposed us, are the nobles, who have castles and forts, and the heads of the principal churches and monasteries. We want to destroy every single castle. It’s now the second revolt, and we will do as many as needed.
We will fight as they fought for us.

HI, I´m a black cat call Alrik my owner is called Raluka but recently I have abandoned because the people thinks that black cats are the pets of the witches and now the people is killing us so I´m hiding of all this people. Now I live under a little bridge in Hamburg (Germany).

Here I have water and food but is also very dangerous because a lot of people cross its not a very good place to stay but I will stay some days here and then I will go out in night so anyone can´t see me .

Also I have to need a lot of luck because of the bubonic plague also called Black death is a plague that kills people it is trasmited by fleas to animals then to people and this happen in huge cities like Hamburg , Wolfsburg and so more .

Hi I´m the "Black Death" and I will tell you my story:

The firt time I appeared, I went to China (1332-1334) killing lots of people, then I went to Europe. Europe was perfect to spread out, because there was no hygiene, and that was perfect for me. Also the people killed cats, so the rats could spread me easier. Then I was erradicated. (20 million dead people or more).
The second time was the same, also it contributed that people didn´t know what to do in that cases, the bad thing was that I couldn´t live in cold places, but I killed nearly 50 million people.
The third time was my end, because "Acacio Gabriel Viegas" founded the solution.
In 1896 I went to India, but he discovered the remedy to me, and this was my end, but I killed nearly 75 million people in Europe, Asia and half Africa

My name is Yersinia Pestis and I am so small that you would need a microscope to see me. Like most bacteria, I am small but very strong and I can travel from one living being to another so quickly.

My reputation is not very good, because people consider me responsible for the plague. They say that I have caused millions of deaths in the Middle Ages, but all I did was moving from one body to another.

My favorite transport are rodents and, especially, rats. Rats have fleas and when I go to live with them I am very happy. Fleas like to jump into the bodies of humans and I can continue growing there.

Fleas like blood and that's why they bite humans. So I move from the flea’s body to the humans body and I start to live big.

Hi,I am Yersenia Pestis,the famous bacterium that caused the Black Death .
Black Death was one of the most devastating pandemics in human history.
The Black Death is thoucht to have been originated in the dry plains of Central Asia.From there,it was mostly carried by fleas living on the black rats that travelled on all merchant ships ,spreading throughout the Mediterranean Basin and Europe.
I have killed from 30% to 60% of Europe´s population.In total,I have reduced the world population from an estimated 450 million to 350-375 million in the 14th century.It took 200 years for the world population to recover its previous level.
With my effects,I produced some symptoms on human body and also in animals .
The most commonly noted symptom was the appearance of buboes in the groin,the neck and armpits,which oozed pus and bled when opened.
This was followed by acute fever and vomiting of blood.Most victims died two to seven minutes after the first infection .Freckle like spots and rashes,which could have been caused by flea-bites,were identified as another potential sign of the plague.In general,I can cause mainly three big infections.

People of the north of Europe didn`t get very affected because in the north the climatae is very cold and the rats cant get there without ding, if they get infect is because an other human has trasmited them.

The First revolt, in 1431 broke out in Pontedeume and Betanzos, and spread to the bishoprics of Lugo, Mondoñedo and Santiago de Compostela. The revolt was led by a fidalgo of low status, Roi Xordo, of A Coruña, who died in the reprisals after the revolt was suppressed in 1435. Now we count with 80,000 troops (peasants, city-dwellers, the lower nobility, and even some members of the clergy). Opposed us, are the nobles, who have castles and forts, and the heads of the principal churches and monasteries. We want to destroy every single castle. It’s now the second revolt, and we will do as many as needed. We will fight as they fought for us.

Hi, I´m an irmandiño rebel. My story started around 1463. I was living with my family in Galicia, in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, this beautiful land was called the end of the world
Everithing started becouse the nobels where bad and selfish with us, they didn´t think that our familis where starving , and lots of people of Galicia made groups to be strong to attacked castels of nobels and kings during the years 1467 and 1469 , and.... why did we did that? Because we were in a crisis, epidemics and abuses of the high nobility that took our crops and they leave us nothing and new and strong bacteria appeared, that bacteria was called "black death or black plague".

We didn't have nutrients, and our bodies were weak, and the new bacteria started stronger, so people were dying quite fast. There was No food, no nutrients, no vitamins, no antibiotics to fight through this new black death bacteria. We started to be very very sick, and the bacteria atack all of us, it doesn´t matter if you were poor or rich, it attacked all of us .

We attacked houses or places of nobles, but this revolt was one of the biggest one in europe, but all this fight did not take nothing.

Soon the soldiers of the nobles stopped and started to take us to the dungeon and started to killed us, including me.

I was born in 681 in Toledo, Spain when Christians prohibited to Jews to have mix marriage and to rebuilt synagogues … All of that was so difficult and Jews weren’t free but I want to continue being a Jew. On that times I had a Christian friend called Sarah, she was the only that understood me so one day she decided to became a Jew , when one day after a Christian soldier knew about that , he arrested her and finally she was persecuted. When I was 13, on 694 there was the council of Toledo when the king Erica with the decisions of the previous council against Jews and lack of enthusiasm of the bishops summon an one new on the 9th of November, I remember that day as if was yesterday all streets were full of important people and bishops I got shocked. But Muslims invaded Spain on 711 so this mean the end of the persecution. They follow the words of the Koran where they said that the Jews a Christians didn’t have to convert to the Islam by force and I like that idea, but it continue being discrimination to the Jews we couldn’t be more powerful than the Muslims. The years passed and I got in love with a Muslim called Abdurrahman we get in secret for a few months but finally we separated because we know I could be killed if the superiors knew it. Finally I got marriage with a Jew men called Karl how gave me the most wonderful days of my life. My life it has not be beautiful but I would life it another time.

A FRENCH KNIGHT IN THE HUNDRED YEARS WAR (CARLOS VEGA)

Hi, I´m called Santiago, I´m actually in 1454 and I´m an exsoldier from France.
When I was a child, I lived with all my family and I remember that one day I asked my grandfather, why wasn´t my dad at home. He told me that my dad had gone to the war and I asked him somethings about that war, so he started telling me all what he knowed about that war.
When he said this to me I asked him why that war started. He explained me that it began with some conflicts about the Duchy of Aquitaine and another of the County of Flanders. But the most important cause was the fight for the succession of Carlos IV between his nephew Eduardo III, King of England and his cousin Felipe VI, who invaded de Duchy of Buyena in 1337 beginning the war. This war continued until 1340 in which they signed a truce after the Anglo-Flemish fleet destroyed the French flet.
He continued telling me that some years later in 1346, war continued, but the worst part of this came one year later and it was the Black Death, an illness wich killed lots of people including my grandfather´s dad and his wife. It was terrible. After this there was a new truce in which Felipe VI died and Juan II succedded him.
In 1354 war continued and it was when my grandfather was called to fight in it. The Black Prince captured Juan II, so Carlos V became King of France. My grandfather said that the biggest problems which had Carlos V were the rise of the Bourgeoisie an of the peasants.This forced him to sign the sign the peace of Brétigny in which Carlos V gived to the King of England, wich was called Eduardo III, much of the French territory in exchange for renouncing the throne of France, this happened in 1360.
My grandfather was very happy because he thought that the war had finished.
But the war continued eight years later in 1368. When Carlos V broke the treated of Brétigny, the war continued until 1377. In this times the worst problem was the civil war created by the fight for the succession of the trone of Carlos V after his dead.
Up to this point is what my grandfather told me, because now in 1414 I was called to fought in the war, which continued because Enrique V disembarked in Normandy to fought with Carlos VI, who at that times was the King of France. Enrique V won the battle.
Many years passed in which there were lots of battles between supporters of the King of France and of the King of England.Carlos VII was declared King of France, and he suffered numerous defeats.
But everything changed for us when Juana de Arco appeared. She was the biggest heroine for the French people. She defeated the English in the Fortress of Orleans by raising the spirit of France. In 1430, English burnt her in the bonfire. That unified us as never before against the English and ended the civil war in France. All together went to the war against them in the Battle of Castillon in 1453 and we defeated them, ending at last the Hundred Years War.
Now, in 1454, I´m writing this history in my home very proud of have served for my country.

Hi, I´m Xiana and I´m from Sandianes, a town in Orense, Galicia. I have two children, a son and a daughter and I have a husband which works the land while I stay at our house cleaning, looking after the kids, cooking... Today, were at the 16th of June of 1467 and we have been in the streets fighting for our rights for almost the three following days. I´ll tell you about our story.

It all started a long time ago with the Irmandade Fusquenlla, in 1431, when I was just nine. Freire de Andrade was ruling in Pontedeume and Betanzos and he was treating horrible all the vassals. He rose up the taxes so this helped with the dissatisfaction of the people. A group of them, leaded by Roi Xordo, organized to protect themselves and fight. After the revolt was initiated, it expanded to Lugo and Mondoñedo. They were defeated in 1435, so now it´s our turn, and we want to make things right.

We are in the middle of a crisis because there are lots of epidemics and there is not enough food for us, the peasants, or that´s what the nobles tell us. But we are sure there is, so we´re doing several revolts all over Galicia. We ´re being supported by the church and the Castile monarchy so this is helping us to return a lot of goods supplanted by the secular nobility.

We´re organizing in small groups to fight and we are destroying the nobles´ castles and towers. Here, in our town, we destroyed a very famous one called Castillo de Sandiás. At the moment, we´re preparing some strategies to win this battle.

We´re tired of lies, now, we want justice, and we will have it.

Hi, Im Ayla, a german black cat.

Until two months ago, I was a stray cat. Before I had five children, I killed the rats to feed my children and, at the same time, helped eliminate the black plague from the streets of Germany.

But one day a group of men came with their mouths and noses covered, and murdered my children. I managed to escape and hide; a human who saw the scene of the killing of my family, rescued me and took me to his house.

My friend the human, always had the curtains on, covering all the windows so that other humans could not see me, but one day with the wind a curtain was uncovered a little, and a neighbor gossip saw me, the neighbor with bad intentions, I knock on the door to have a coffee with my master, and he found me.

The neighbor began to scream and set up a scandolo among the entire community of neighbors. In a few moments the house of my home was full of humans with the intention of killing me. My master tried to stop them to protect me, but there were many, crying in the end he gave up.
The neighbors murdered me and began to discriminate against my owner for hosting a black cat in his home.

Later, most of the neighbors fell ill, and realized that my owner did not get sick, they began to observe the differences that they had with him, because nobody understood the reason why my master did not get sick. In the end they realized that their houses were full of rats in the neighborhood, and they even sneaked some at home.

Some of the neighbors who remained standing, approached and asked him what he was doing so that the rats would not come near his house, this one, he realized that it was because of the cat. The cat had scared them, so the rats were afraid and no longer approached their house.

The neighbors, they apologized to my master for killing me and having discriminated against him for hosting a black cat.
From that day on, all the members of the neighborhood adopted a black cat, so that they would not be seen at night and would be more effective, and all those who remained were saved from the German black plague.

Hi, I’m Gamali Fernandez, and I’ve been treating patients for over a year (1348-1349)!!

Since I was a little boy, I always had in mind the profession of being a doctor, and so I grew up and decided to study and apply for that and here I am.

In 1348 everything started, I had some patients reaching and calling the hospital about some kind of disease. I had patients with different symptoms: extremely high fever, diarrhea, groin (nowadays known as buboes), etc…

When I was at work I had to use this uniform that I’Orme designed, that consisted of a waxed leather coat, leggings, boots, and gloves intended to deflect miasmas from head to toes. The suit was then coated in suet, hard white animal fat, to repel bodily fluids. They also donned me a prominent black hat to indicate that I was, in fact, a doctor.

I also carried a long wooden stick which I used to communicate with my patients, examine them, and occasionally ward off the more desperate and aggressive ones.

Foul-smelling air was also combatted with sweet herbs and species like camphor, mint, cloves, and myrrh, stuffed into a grotesque mask with a bird-like beak. Sometimes the herbs were set to flame before they were put in the mask so that the smoke could further protect the doctor.

We also wore round glass googles. A hood and leather band tethered the googles and mask tightly to our heads. Besides the sweaty and horrifying exterior, the suit was deeply flawed in that it had airholes poked into the beak. As a result, many of my colleagues contracted this plague and died.

We also had some up’s and down’s, sometimes we thought the cure was ready and was going to be efficient, but after many attempts, we gave up

In consequence, it started to expand to places in the world, and so nowadays there isn’t any cure. But what we did was look for some remedies for avoiding and trying to cure it but few people saved themselves.

These remedies were:

Rubbing onions, herbs or a chopped snake (if available) on the boils

Cutting up a pigeon and rubbing it over an infected body.

Drinking vinegar, eating crushed minerals, arsenic, mercury or even ten-year-old treacle!

Hello my name is Yersinia Pestis and I´m originally from western Asia. I live because of the fleas in the rats and I appeared in very populated areas. Because of that I easily pass from rats to humans and other mamals when the rat dies.

One day in an expedition lot´s of ships came across all asia so they carried food, treasures and lots of goods with them but also lots of rats with me (the fleas), because the poor higiene of the 14th century. The time goes by and men die in the ship, when one day we finally arrive to Europe, we visited lots of big and important cities and we get used to the cities and humans because we could easily go and infect them. After a couple of days some marks appeared on their bodies such us bubas and high fevers. And lots of cofs so we could get even easily infect more and more and in a couple of years we (the bacterium) conquered almost all Europe and we also killed many people. They gave us the name of The Black Death.

We were in some cases the cause of the Jews persecutions because other religions blamed them from being the ones that produce us (The Black Death).

The world was almost ours until one day we stopped propagating and they found the cure to erradicate us, that´s why we have the name of Yersinia Pestis because the man that discover us was Alexandre Emile John Yersin.

Hi I'm yersinia pestis , but the people call me as the black plague , bubonic plague or black death . I expanded all over Europe during the 14 century and I'm transmitted by fleas carried by rats .

The epidemic that I caused started mainly in central asia and from there I spread to italian cities and from there to europe .I ended up with more tan a third of the population and 45 million people worldwide .
I have devastated Europe , China , India , the middle east and the north of africa .
My origin is from the Gobi desert (1320) .

I arrived in india in (1331 - 1334) , in Russia (1342) , and in Europe in ( 1346) .
I started in Asia as I told you before and I managed to reach Europe through the trade routes , specifically the Crimean route .

My name is Thiago, and  we are in the war of Cangas. I know that is your first war but don´t warry, The worst thing that can happen to you is that you die. You look worried, it's just a joke. 

the war has begun because of the hunger, epidemics and the abuses of the Galician nobility. With the dynastic union between the kingdoms of León and Castile in 1230, Galicia became a region dependent on the Crown of Castile. The great power of the clergy and the nobility in it were a great annoyance to the Crown. This nobility :the Osorio in Monforte de Lemos and Sarria, the Andrade in Pontedeume, the Moscoso in Vimianzo, the Sarmiento, the Ulloa, the Sotomayor... committed numerous abuses ranging from the patronage of lordly banditry to the exorbitant increase in the fiscal pressure. The peasantry was the most accused victim of the manorial abuses and that is why we are fighting in this war.  

after a few years of fighting the irmandiños lost the war, mainly for two reasons, one of them was the division in their ranks, which translated into weakness in the fight, and the other reason was the elimination of the great majority of their leaders , which I suppose lack of control and direction of their troops, and all this is what led them to fail in their objective.

Hi, my name is Pierre and I am here to tell you how was my experience in the hundred years war. This story begins long long ago in Paris, France. A war was going on there and I was just a child. The conflict was between English and French peoples. The reason were the lands, like in any normal conflict. The problem started in the Battle of Hastings in 1066. The duke William of Normandy won the battle proclaiming himself as the owner of England. Normans were kings now and they claim to be treated in the way kings should be treated, while in France's view Normans had always been vasals and they didn't they had to change their behaviour with them. That fact brought many issues and finally a war. I was born the 14th of July of 1417. France was losing the war but that wasn't the most important trouble. The famine we were suffering was huge and the black death was killing a lot of people. It seemed the misfortunes would never stop, until she came. I was 12 years and I was sent to fight against the English even though I wasn't really good at it, but the was no choice. I was afraid, living in a country without food and health made me lose all hope. But one day a lady sent by god gave us hope again. I had the privilege to fight by her side and its unforgettable how she returned France what it was his. That gave us courage to continue. We conquered Orleans, Troyes, Châlons and Reims. But nothing is perfect, she was captured in 1430 and judged by sorcery for what was condemned to burn at the stake. She died like a heroine and that gave pass to French victory. French pressure made its enemy go down and conquered its old owns. Once the issues disappeared there was no reason to continue the war and quietly it finished. Hundred years of war gave a wonderful victory, but famine and black death are not over. This is my story how I grew up with a war, now I'm old and sick and it's time to say bye.~1466

My name is Missy, I am a cat and i live in Germany, in a city near the sea. I live with my brother and my father, I don t have mother because a peasant threw her to the sea. We live in the streets, we don't have home, but we are happy with what we have .

One day a ship of trade entered in the coast, the ship was transporting in it food and costumes for the markets, but it also had a lot of rats. At the same time that the ship touched the coast and they opened the doors, the rats started to expand in all directions.

Many few weeks later the city started to be less inhabited in the square and the markets. A week later a mass of humans started to shout "kill all the, cats it`s an order of the king!", so my father decided to get out of the city in that moment .

We were running into the principal door when suddenly a human stick his sword into my dad, my brother decided to help him but other human appeared and stuck his axe in my brother's tail. Then my brother and my dad shouted with the last forces they had "Run Missy, run". And I started to run meanwhile I heard a human screaming… "we kill two!"

Inside of me I was destroyed but I needed to get out, I decided to hide in a carousel and sleep a few hours. When I woke up, there were two children watching me. I get out my claws and the children started to laugh because the saw me as a cute thing and not as a killer who had the black plague with him, so they started to give me mimes, one of them said that they could take me to their home and hide me there.

The children decided to hide me under the bed.

It had passed a few weeks and the life here was easy, but one day the father came home. After a few months, he started to smell something in the children's bedroom, so he started to investigate and he found me. I tried to scape from him but he caught me and the children started telling him why he couldn't kill me, but he didn't care about it and he cut my legs. Meanwhile I was remembering the old times with my family, but the truth is that when you see the reality with me eyes, in this time there is no peace.
