Timing: 60-90 minutes fully online asynchronous session.

Acquisition Activity 1

Aim: to introduce the topic of verbal interview skills

Begin by asking the students have they ever been in an interview, then give an overview of the topic using jamboard and google slides

Timing: 20 minutes

Investigation Activity 2

Aim: Find the five most common questions asked in an interview

Students will work alone to find the top five most asked questions in an interview setting and share their answers on a padlet.

Timing: 20 minutes

Discussion activity 3

Aim: to give an overview of what has been mentioned on Google Slides in video form

Students will watch the short video on how to ace your verbal interview, they must remember one piece of information.

Collaboration Activity 4

Aim: to get the students engaging with writing a piece of information down from the short video

Students will have watched the short video on how to ace your verbal interview they will now go on to Mentimeter and add a piece of information to the word cloud

Timing: 10 minutes

Practice Activity 5
