         <description><![CDATA[<div>Though not presented in exactly the way as symbols in other books, the best thing I could find that could be interpreted as a symbol is water, which is needed to moisten dirt to grow crops on Mars, so in a way one could say it symbolizes in the book a way to continue and possibly get back to Earth. As for added meaning, there isn't much other than how it is essential to survive, and being not as much of a symbol, this is all I thought of.</div>]]></description>
