The lake is a major boating and fishing area

Largemouth bass - top predators in the lake (mostly)
deer - increases biodiversity and encourage new plant growth
turkey - lays eggs near the lake so other animals can eat them

the Savannah river is tidal at the city of Savannah
the Savannah river was the main point of interest for settlements during the 18th century

catfish - mostly scavengers that move along the shore to get food from vegetables and other food
american eel - eats at night and feeds on small insects
striped bass - migrates from freshwater to saltwater and then back to coastal areas to feed

bottle-brush buckeye - sits next to the savannah river helping shade near the shore

wetlands can mitigate climate change
lots of biodiversity
wetlants act as a survival ground for certain birds
there are no wetlands in antartica

salamanders - control the insect population in wetlands (vernal pools)

frogs - tadpoles eat algea and help reduce oxygen in certain areas, mostly hide in the grass

turtles - pretty much everything eat their eggs but theres a lot of good areas for habitat

Duckweed - provides a nutritious food source for many waterfowl and fish

Water Lily - provide pollen for insects and provides food for fish and wildlife

Estuaries are some of the most productive ecosystems in the world
Many animals rely on estuaries for places to breed, feed, and sleep
Estuaries soak up extra flood water and help maintain water levels

animal), what the animal eats, and why that animal lives in the environment you selected.
Fish - Very easy to find a hideout that protects them from predators and currents
Shellfish - provide habitat and food for estuarine species
Migratory Birds - Use estuaries for resting and feeding whenever they migrate then normally leave pretty soon after they arrive

Ealgrass - provides a habitat and food for birds and fish (long green blade of grass but in water)
Pickleweed - helps maintain the salt/freshwater balance in esturaries (long green sticks with some sprouts of purple flower things on them)
Saltgrass - saltgrass produces most of the salt in esturaries with their salt glands (long ferns with point ends and small white spots)

In the winter, the temperatures are mostly near the 50s, but in the summer months it fluctuates between 80 and 90 degree highs, although the cool ocean breezes allow the temperatures to not be an intense as the mainland.

They formed 4 to 50 thousand years ago
The oldest islands are closest to the mainland
separated by tidal creeks and bays
they create a barrier from the mainland and the sea mostly to curb erosion
