Teenager's brains respond differently to the outside world compared to an adults' brain. The teenager's brain may be responding with a more of a guy reaction than a superior or more thinking kind of response. Teenagers have more of a impulsive behavior response instead of an adult who has a more thoughtful kind of response. For example a teenager can get into an argument with another a teenager and it can later become physical. On the other hand, many adult rather talk things through instead of using fighting to settle things.

Both teenagers and adults nerve connections in their brains. In most teenagers the connections are not physically fully connected. This can impact teenagers brain's ability to process information in a way that looks at the entire picture. The last part of the brain to develop, is the frontal lobe which governs attention span, motivation, and impulses. In an adult these connections are already made which means they can think clearly. For example, a teenager might need help to review their essay for class and their teacher said there's several of grammar error. For the adult , it will be easy to find the error because their vocabulary is better than teenager vocabulary. The adult can help the teenager find the mistakes together.

As a teenager your brain has not fully developed , which means you don't act as mature as adult. For example, teenager can make an inappropriate joke and adults don't find them funny. But on the other hand any teenager will find the joke funny because their brains are not fully developed causing them to be immature.
