         <title>Bush was born on June 12, 1924 in Milton, Massachusetts. He fought in the second world war. He was elected the House of Representatives in 1966. He earned degrees from both Phillips Academy and Yale University. Bush served as vice president to Ronald Reagan for two terms. He then wen on to win the presidential election of 1988. Bush lost his second term to Bill Clinton. </title>

         <title>At the time Bush was elected into office, Germany was reunifying and the Cold war was coming to an end. Bush also helped to better the relationship between the US and the Soviet Union. He met with Mikhail Gorbachev in July of 1991 and the two signed the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty. Bush also authorized military in the nations of Panama and Persia. Bush was known as a moderate conservative and he signed documents as the Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. Bush also appointed two supreme court members in his presidency which were David Scouter and Clarence Thomas. Bush gained much support of the American public because of foreign initiatives. Bush failed to uphold his promise of ¨no new taxes&quot; which upset many Americans. He then lost his presidency to Bill Clinton as he tried to win the second term. </title>
