Chaucer has a "modern" understanding of psychological understanding of med evil times. He says that Chaucer is a novelist thinker, and a realist thinker combining them both. I agree with him because, writings like these kind of pieces are hard to understand because of the way its written. I used this song because the Friar reveals the Summoners sinful actions, giving away his secrets. The summoner is accused of being a thief and a sinner.
