The Battle of Stirling Bridge was a battle between the english and the scottish, caused by a battle they had back in 1269. In that previous fight the scottish lost,so the english king Eduard the first forced the scottish kind to give up his throne and to give all the scottish land to the english kind. But of course the scottish didn´t wanted to, so started a second battle: the battle of stirling bridge, which they ended up winning. The scottish army was lead by William Wallace under Andrew de Moray and the english served under John de Wavenne and his best man Hugh Cressingham. After that battle, the english army lost about 1650 and more men.
