Ken Carson whose real name is Kenyatta L Frazier Jr, was born on April 11, 2000, in Atlanta, Georgia. Ken started off with an electric guitar that he learned to play at an early age of life. He did multiple music projects in high school and also formed a band. His childhood friend TM88 would go on to be a notable producer, and the two exchanged notes and ideas often early on in life. Ken's biggest album out right now is "A Great Chaos" and it has sold over 49,000 units.

He's influential to me because he is the type of rapper that people will grow out of eventually. It is the same with artists like xxxtentacion & Trippie Redd. They won't stand the test of time, whereas someone like JID will since he has substance. Oldheads wont like Carti and will say he's not influential but they are also the ones that have never heard of Yeat, Destroy Lonely, Homixide Gang, Cochise, Summrs, UnoTheActivist and a lot more. These artists are also very big or at least very quickly rising.

Lyric Analysis

The lyrics touch on the artist's journey from having nothing, as indicated by pockets with lint and dust, to a point where putting on certain things has become a daily necessity. The artist claims to have given advice on how to get rich but expresses frustration that it hasn't been heeded by the recipient. The phrase "Keep it a hunnid" suggests authenticity and honesty in dealing with life and situations. The mention of being on the south side of Atlanta with Lil' 88 adds a geographical context to the narrative and may evoke a sense of place and culture. The repetition of the line "Two things I ain't ever seen" shows the rarity or nonexistence of certain experiences.

The song "Jennifer Body" talks a lot about being confident and having a unique style. It says the artist doesn't care much about spending a lot of money on clothes. There's also talk about living a fancy lifestyle with expensive things like mink and staying in expensive hotels. The lyrics suggest that relationships should be more casual and short-term instead of serious. It also disapproves of people who are too focused on romantic interests. The song might be influential because it encourages people to be proud of their style, handle money independently, and not take relationships too seriously.

In the picture above Ken is wearing a Rick Owen puffer jacket and he also has a Rick Owen beanie on. The belt he has on also represents the album he dropped "TeenX". The Opium style can be derived from a few trends such as dressing like alt fashion and hype beast culture. This attributes Opium its designer visual you'll see many outfits including pieces from Rick Owens, Alyx, Chrome Hearts and Raf Simons. Playboi Carti, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang all dress alike. This fashion became popular in early 2020 when the label "Opium" blew up.

Atlanta is a big deal for music, especially for black rappers. It's got a lot of places for new artists to show what they've got, like clubs and events. The city has its own sound with trap beats and cool production. There are important music people like record labels and producers helping black artists become famous. These rappers talk about real stuff in their songs, like problems and their culture. They work hard to make it big in the hip-hop scene and leave their mark on the music world.

They compare Ken to his mentor Playboi Carti. His style is a lot like Carti's album "Whole Lotta Red". He kin of has a mentality and flow like Uzi. People say Ken was also inspired by people like J.Cole, Future, and Jay-Z. His stage name was inspired the Barbie boyfriend Ken. He claims that he wanted to live better than him.

The ✱ represents the "Opium" Label. That symbol is supposed to be a poppy plant that is used for drugs. This connects to Ken because he is signed to that label and whenever someone sees it they think of that Label. The image that is put above is from Ken's album which is called "TeenX". The little X on his tongue also represents a drug and the overall image is supposed to be like a vamp type thing. In his new album "AGC" he also uses this image of a vampire in the picture.
