This celebration spans over three day with the first day marking the end of the month of Ramadhan. Each culture throughout the world has different Eid traditions, but all of them begin with the morning Eid prayers in the mosque. For muslims in Malaysia, they wear "Baju Melayu" for male muslims while "Baju Kurung" for female ones. After the prayer, most Muslims focus on giving some gifts and family gatherings. The day is usually marked by visiting relatives and friends to celebrate together, share the happiness, and spread harmony. During the day, a lot of tasty dishes are served to eat during the gatherings.
