Since social media can be easily constructed, unlike real life, people tend to only show the best version of themselves to be able to be more liked, thus being able to connect more with other people or be more validated.

It is known that people typically post only the good and positive side of their lives. From job promotions to engagement proposals the list goes on an on, but what fails to reach the screen is financial burdens and struggling to make ends meet.
