Band is also very much a team sport. Everyone is important we strive to become more than the sum of our parts. Each instrument, each part whether you are playing solo trumpet, tamborine, triangle or 3rd clarinet is made to feel as though they belong. Common experiences also help bolster this through band competition, concerts, performances for community, playing at basketball games, playing for the President of CHile. Authentic experiences in band intrinsically promote this atmosphere.
