On pages 1-20 He first talks about his practices and how many people would get into fist fights in his team. The he introduces his teammates and coaches. He then sees his dorm room and what it is like and in the afternoon, he will have a practice. at night he sneaked out to a near town with 5 of his teammates and they got drunk. At first he wanted to just get on a good start. But after he had learned all of the plays he stopped going to practice where they would just go over plays because he thought that there was no point of going.

In football, the positions that you play are more important because every position is very different. For example, you can't have a wide receiver playing on the line and hitting people because the size and skill required for each are very different. According to coach Nick Smith from four verts football ”skill positions in football are positions that value talent and expertise more so then strength and size.” The fact that football has specific skill positions show that you need need unique talent to play those positions. While certain positions require distinct skills they all require ”speed, Strength, agility, and mental fortitude.” This shows that all the players for every position need to at least have those abilities.
