You have been an amazing manager & a colleague. I still vividly remember our first call & you were one of the few recruiters who could pitch an org. so well. I was sold then only.

But coming inside & being in your team has been an out of world experience. The reason why this team is what it is because of you. I have always admired the way you have kept our team. As for me, you have stood with me, listened to me & guided me all the way.

Its so hard to digest that you’re not going to be there Monday onwards..the sentence just sounds out right weird to the ears!
We are so used to you being there for us ALL the time..a huuuge support system and like the glue for us all. Having said that, we will always remain stuck to you some way or the other, you won’t get rid of us so easily :P
Have definitely found a small family in this team of ours. ♥️

I want to say thank you for the times you were there during my breakdowns and for all the times you’ve been there to provide your constructive advice.

I still remember the flock video call the day my internship ended where you called me to say I was being converted to a FTE, I remember just being so ecstatic and overjoyed🙈 and our last flock video call was a sad one..

You’ve been motivating, understanding and supportive for both work and beyond work.

I dont have words to describe how shocked i still am!!! Its never going to be the same without you, Pops 🥺

From the very first day i joined Directi, theres this very special bond created with you.. from random photo shoots in office to celebrating days (as if we're on college).. crazy work days... silly dancing and karaoke at clubs... your love for my gujju dal.. your never changing desk in the HR bay.. secret santa madness.. all those work goss.. you inspiring us for yoga.. your baking phase mode during lockdown.. all those friday chill sesh.. and what not!!!
Cannot imagine coming back to office and not seeing you around.. it's like i'm joining another company altogether 😀

As a manager, i've never met someone who is so open to listening to ideas and so accommodative at the same time is also a great friend to talk to.. i've had some really bad days and really good days but i'm so glad that you were always around and there for me, whenever i needed you ❤️

I'll always be very grateful for what i've learnt from you😁

I still can't believe this day has comeee.... You were one of the major reasons for me wanting to join Directi and quite literally the face of the company! Every where I looked, on every job portal, I could see, "Poppin Mathias- Directi, Zeta, Flock, CodeChef, Radix" and I can safely say you overshot my expectations during the interview and definitely during our work tenure-ship together. I still remember our interview like it was yesterday...

I was in complete awe of how sorted you are and someone I always aspired to be like; exceptional at her work and at the same time filled with raw, genuine emotions, and a real concern and level of empathy for all!

Your ability to keep a smile on your face throughout everything and joy-filled, "Addyyyyy, how's it goinggg" always lifted my spirits. Stakeholder management, maintaining your calm during pressure, kindness, meeting (and over-exceeding targets), and just pure unbridled happiness is what you're all about. Thank you for taking efforts to always check in on me, no matter how busy you are. I always looked to the side and felt a sense of happiness knowing that you were sitting with us in the bay, whether it be doing work or Prerna's and my (failed) attempts at the gym :P, our team meetings and team outings or even the amazing time we had at your birthday!

It pains me so much to write this Pops, and honestly as difficult as it is to believe, I'm actually short on words. I never thought this day would come, but I truly know and believe in my heart that you are deserving of every good thing and every success in the world. Your personal thoughts and memories, to bake our favourites be it Nutella chocolate chip cookies or bring our favorite items, will never be forgotten. Even typing this out brings out an ocean of emotions and memories and such beautiful ones, that it makes saying Good-Bye to you super difficult.

I wish this was all just a nightmare and I wake up to a team meeting with you saying.. "keep dreaming, I'm not going anywhere"

But that dreaded day has finally arrived, when we have to say goodbye to the Backbone of our team, the one who has always taught us to stick together no matter what.
