Students need to complete 1 graded database with medication sheets, a weekly database (often done in parts based on student focus/learning and how well they are doing) with medication sheets. They also complete simulation prep work and Shadow health assignments to meet clinical hours.

We have an OB prep packet- with labs, SBAR, care plan, etc. Each student is to complete this each clinical day and review one on one with instructor and/or at post-conference.

We have 2- 4hr HPS high fidelity scenarios, we have 4 hour low fidelity skills, and next semester we will be doing full day 8 hr OB/LD/Newborn sim.

We have a skills day- 4 hours- where they perform level 1 skills the first day of level 2 107. They are required to attend.

We have a newborn head to toe narrative assessment, and care plan. Then we have a mental health mental status exam and therapeutic communication assignment.
